Job summary

State Street is seeking a Quality Assurance - C# Automation - Tech Lead to drive QA automation initiatives in a hybrid setup in India. The role emphasizes building robust automation frameworks, mentoring juniors, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience, strong C#/.NET fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Selenium, SQL, and CI/CD (Jenkins). Familiarity with capital markets domain is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in QA Automation using tools such as Selenium with C#.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and .NET framework fundamentals.
• Experience in designing and developing robust test automation frameworks (POM, data‑driven, keyword‑driven).
• Proficient in working with collections, LINQ, and design patterns in C#.
• Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries to validate backend data.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking tools, QA processes, and RCA.

Quality Assurance - C# Automation - Tech Lead

Experience level : 5 to 10 years

Role : QA - Test Engineer

Primary Skills (Must Have):

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in QA Automation using tools such as Selenium with C#.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and .NET framework fundamentals.
• Experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, data‑driven, keyword‑driven).
• Proficient in working with collections, LINQ, and design patterns in C#.
• Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries to validate and test backend data.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, including integration of automated test suites into build pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Good knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking/management tools, QA processes, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to modern tools like Playwright (C#) or other automation frameworks.
• Experience in cloud platforms or enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of pipeline troubleshooting and test stability optimization.
