Job summary

Qcentrio is seeking a QA Automation specialist with 6–8 years of experience to drive automation initiatives and framework design. The role requires hands-on Python, Selenium, and modern frameworks to build scalable automation solutions, in an Agile environment.

The candidate will document test plans, execute regression suites, and collaborate across teams while maintaining QA environments, with strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of QA Automation experience in software testing activities including automation using Python.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented Python and framework design with advanced Python.
• Experience with Selenium, Behave/Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright.
• Proficient with Python open-source libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools.
• Proficient in SQL Server or Postgres databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Able to work as individual contributor or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches while working in Agile methodology.
• Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing status, and potential risks.
• Manage, maintain QA environments along with build and deployments.
• Design and develop test automation solutions using Cucumber/Selenium and related technologies.
• Automate and execute test scenarios and regression suites for existing and new solutions.
• Provide transparency through metrics, automation testing results, and reporting.

Job Description

• 6 to 8 years of QA Automation experience in software testing activities including automation using python
• A self-managed individual with a proven record to build and scale the automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Object-oriented language like Python including framework design with advance python
• In-depth experience with leading automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, behave/Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright
• Should be experienced with python open-source libraries like Pandas, NumPy and visualization tools
• Should be proficient in a database with SQL server or Postgres
• Well versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and techniques
• Ability and willingness to work as an individual contributor or as a team member as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
