Job summary

Qcentrio in India is seeking an experienced QA Automation engineer with 6–8 years of hands-on testing and automation using Python to help build scalable frameworks. You will work as an individual contributor or as part of a team, contributing to design, development, and maintenance of robust automation solutions.

You will design test plans, implement frameworks with Selenium, PyTest, Playwright, and Cucumber/BDD, and leverage Pandas/NumPy for data validation.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of QA Automation experience.
• Self-managed individual with a proven record to build and scale the automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Python including framework design.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright.
• Experience with Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Proficient in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Strong CI/CD experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches in Agile methodology.
• Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing status, and risks.
• Manage QA environments along with build and deployments.
• Design and develop test automation solutions using Cucumber / Selenium and other suitable technologies.
• Automate and execute test scenarios and regression suites for existing and new solutions.
• Provide transparency through metrics, automation results, and reporting.

Job Description

• 6 to 8 years of QA Automation experience in software testing activities including automation using python
• A self-managed individual with a proven record to build and scale the automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Object-oriented language like Python including framework design with advance python
• In-depth experience with leading automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, behave/Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright
• Should be experienced with python open-source libraries like Pandas, NumPy and visualization tools
• Should be proficient in a database with SQL server or Postgres
• Well versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and techniques
• Ability and willingness to work as an individual contributor or as a team member as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies

Basic Qualifications
