Job summary

Qcentrio requires a QA Automation specialist with 6–8 years of experience to lead automation efforts in software testing. You will design frameworks in Python, implement Selenium-based tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines within an Agile team.

The ideal candidate excels in building scalable automation, has strong communication, and can work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
• 6 to 8 years of QA Automation experience in software testing activities including automation using python.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented languages like Python including framework design with advanced Python.
• Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, behave/Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright.
• Proficiency with Python open-source libraries like Pandas, NumPy and visualization tools.
• Proficiency with databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor or in a team; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches while working in Agile methodology.
• Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing status, and potential risks.
• Manage and maintain QA environments along with build and deployments.
• Design and develop test automation solutions using Cucumber/Selenium and related technologies.
• Automate and execute test scenarios and regression suites for existing and new solutions.
• Provide transparency through metrics and reporting of automation testing results.

• In-depth experience with leading automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, behave/Cucumber/BDD, PyTest, Playwright
• Should be experienced with python open-source libraries like Pandas, NumPy and visualization tools
• Should be proficient in a database with SQL server or Postgres
• Well versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and techniques
• Ability and willingness to work as an individual contributor or as a team member as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
