Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a seasoned QS for MEP to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing scope on a building under construction. The candidate will oversee design development, constructability, approvals, and coordination with all services disciplines.

The role requires extensive experience on industrial/PEB projects, strong organization, and excellent communication to ensure on-time delivery and completion with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and execution on large buildings.
• Excellent knowledge of design development, approvals, and shop drawings.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and manage procurement and handover processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability.
• Review compliance and obtain approvals in time, coordinate with Services Design disciplines.
• Ensure installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing/Firefighting systems as per drawings and schedule.

Job Description Summary This role is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work of a building under construction. Also having sound understanding of the impact of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing settings within the construction process.

Job Description About the Role:

Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability of the design. Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time. Co-ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design Ensure Contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval. Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner. Execute services work as per the drawings, specification in line with schedule and quality. Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material supply vendors in line with the agreed procurement process with the Client. Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning of equipment related to all service (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing ,Firefighting) Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per vendor contracts, receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as built drawings. Initiate Training to taking over team through Contractor, Consultants

About You:

B.E. Mechanical / Electrical 15 Years & above of relevant experience Should have completed at least 2-3 Industrial / Industrial shed / PEB projects end to end during the tenure Candidate working with Project Management Consultancy would be preferred Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works Excellent organizational and motivational skills Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
