Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced QS-MEP to drive MEP design development and ensure constructability within building projects. You will coordinate with all services disciplines, review approvals, and manage shop drawings and site execution for Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing and Firefighting systems.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, BE Mechanical or Electrical, and prior end-to-end delivery of Industrial/PEB projects. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or Electrical with 15+ years of experience in MEP projects.
• Experience delivering 2-3 Industrial/PEB projects end-to-end.
• Project management consultancy experience preferred; strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Actively engage in initial design development of MEP services and assess constructability.

• Ensure shop drawings are submitted and approved; oversee on-site execution.
• Ensure approvals are implemented at site in a timely manner.
• Execute services work per drawings and specifications within schedule and quality.
• Assist in vendor selection and procurement in line with client processes.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing and Firefighting.
• Manage handovers with vendors/consultants; ensure documents like manuals and test certificates are received.
• Initiate training for takeover teams through contractor and consultants.

About the Role:

• Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability of the design.
• Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time.
• Co-ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design
• Ensure Contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval.
• Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.
• Execute services work as per the drawings, specification in line with schedule and quality.
• Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material supply vendors in line with the agreed procurement process with the Client.
• Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning of equipment related to all service (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing ,Firefighting)
• Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per vendor contracts, receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as built drawings.
• Initiate Training to taking over team through Contractor, Consultants

About You

• B.E. Mechanical / Electrical
• 15 Years & above of relevant experience
• Should have completed at least 2-3 Industrial / Industrial shed / PEB projects end to end during the tenure
• Candidate working with Project Management Consultancy would be preferred
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
