Key Responsibilities
- Meeting the EHS protocols & regulatory norms in force
- Ensure Quality Control of SCF plant, BRW products as per QC acceptance criteria and PDS
- Maintaining KQI2/monthly rejection within targeted limit, RCA and implementing corrective action
- Cost reduction under F5 project
- Maximizing reclaim material consumption and subsequent monitoring of product performance
- Revenue increase by consuming plant Inventory of old redundant Finished Goods & raw materials
- Product Data Management (PDM) of Raw Materials and products
- Quality Assurance of SCF plant, BRW products
- Visiting Customer Sites to attend Customer Complaints and Understand practical application of products
- Handling Third Party Inspections
- Conducting Trials for development of new products & improvement of existing products
- Improvement in Process Control to get consistent quality intermediate & final products
- Evaluation of New Raw Material from existing / new suppliers received from SCM
- Administration of SCF plant, BRW lab
- Upkeep and timely Calibration / AMC of all Lab Equipments
- Testing & Timely reporting of Inter lab and R&D samples
- Meeting the IMS and ISO norms and reporting daily testing result
- Maintaining test records
- Maintaining 5S standard in the workplace
- Knowledge on Factsage software on Thermodynamic model and simulation
Job Specifications
Education And Experience Requirements
B.Tech/M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering/ Ceramic Technology with experience in the Steel Casting Fluxes industry preferably in Quality Control. Experience in Steel Caster shops will also be preferred.
Minimum Experience Required 2 Years.
