Job summary

Utkarsh Placement Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead site QA activities, develop and implement quality systems, and establish vendor qualification for raw and packing materials.

The role involves reviewing processes, SOPs, quality plans, vendor documents and test methods, and investigating deviations and complaints. You will coordinate with QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Engineering and HSE; train personnel on SOPs and 5S, identify training needs, and drive CAPA

Responsibilities

• Leading QA activities at the site and supporting business objectives.
• Developing quality systems and ensuring their implementation.
• Developing vendor qualification system for raw materials and packing materials.
• Reviewing manufacturing process flow, technical packages, SOPs, quality agreements, vendor documents, quality plans, specifications and test methods.
• Reviewing trend analysis reports of product quality, non-conformances and complaints, and highlighting areas to focus.
• Investigating deviations, product non-conformances, complaints and returned goods as part of cross-functional team.
• Coordinating with QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Engineering, HSE for quality matters and system implementation.
• Training site personnel on system related SOPs including good documentation practices.
• Identifying training needs and arranging training for team members.
• Reviewing CAPA plans and monitoring effectiveness.
• Auditing vendor sites, toller sites and facing customer audits.
• Continuous improvement of Quality Systems through gap analysis and system reviews.
• Implementing and maintaining all TQM elements across plant through training and collaboration with plant teams and external initiatives.

Job description

• 1. Responsible for leading Quality Assurance activities of the site and support to business objectives.
• 2. Development of Quality systems and ensure their implementation.
• 3. Development of vendor qualification system for Raw materials and Packing materials.
• 4. Review of manufacturing process flow, technical packages, system related SOPs, quality agreements, vendor documents, quality plan, specifications and test methods etc.
• 5. Review of trend analysis reports of Product quality, Non-conformances and Complaints, and highlight the area to be focused.
• 6. Investigation of deviation, product non-conformance, complaints and returned goods as part of cross-functional-team.
• 7. Coordination with QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Engineering, HSE departments for quality related matters and implementation of systems.
• 8. Training of site personnel on system related SOPs including good documentation practices.
• 9. Identification of training needs of team members and provide/arrange training to them accordingly.
• 10. Review of CAPA plan and monitor the effectiveness.
• 11. Audit of vendor sites, toller sites and facing customer audits.
• 12. Continuous improvement of Quality Systems through gap analysis and system review.
• 13. Implementing and maintaining all TQM elements across plant by training, collaborating with plant teams as well as external competition participation related initiatives.
• 14. Owe 5S awareness training imparting to plant officials, conduct zonal, internal and external audits to sustain the system.
