Job Title: IT – Hardware/ System Administrator

Company: QI LIFECARE PRIVATE LIMITED

Reports to: Manager, Information Technology and Services

Job Purpose: This role is responsible for planning, developing, installation, configuration, and maintenance of corporate hardware, software, and any related infrastructure. This includes the creation of all plans for ensuring functionality, data consistency, security, and usability of systems aligned with the organization’s priorities, enabling Company employees to do their work effectively. The IT – Hardware/System Administrator is responsible for diagnosing and resolving performance issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Job Knowledge:
  1. Hands-on experience for Installation/Support of Desktop/Laptop & Server Support
  2. Installation & Support experience for Operating System (Win10, Win Server 2012, 2019), NAS storage, Antivirus, Standard Software
  3. Installation and Support for IT Peripherals & Network Device like Printer, Wireless, Routers/Firewall, and other IT Assets
  4. Support on Network Equipment in the and Remote Support
  5. Providing Onsite & Remote Technical Support to Users
  6. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware
  7. Some experience in monitoring/troubleshooting/design of Passive UTP & OFC Structured cabling would be preferred, though not essential
  8. Knowledge of Office365 & SharePoint admin center
  9. Basic knowledge of AWS
  10. Knowledge of Email servers & Backup systems is preferred
  11. CCTV & its Storage Knowledge
Accountability:
  1. Research, recommend, install, configure, upgrade, and administer hardware (Server, Storage, Client, Network) and peripherals to achieve operational requirements and project specifications.
  2. Perform daily backup operations for all office locations
  3. Manage Office365 admin Centre
  4. Manage user accounts, creating, updating, and removing access, as necessary.
  5. Constantly monitor and assess systems to ensure that processes are operating as designed.
  6. Troubleshoot errors and fix system issues via Vendors, periodic testing, helpdesk tickets, and other methods.
  7. Act as a technical resource during other projects as required.
  8. Ensure data integrity across the enterprise.
  9. Creation, maintenance of software and hardware inventories.
  10. Responsible for the creation of platform-related documentation.
  11. Back-up and mentor the support analyst role.

  3. Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary.

  7. Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow-ups, and issue resolution to closure.
Additional Qualifications:
  1. Graduate in any field
  2. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
  3. Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communicate on all levels of the organization.
  4. Diligent attention to detail is essential due to the nature of the work.
  5. Thorough analysis, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Visit clinics and Head Office locations for troubleshooting.
  7. Ability to multitask and prioritize is a must.
