Job Title: QHSE Head IMEA

Department: QHSE

Location & region: IMEA region based in India

Job Purpose:

Lead the region towards the goals set by the Group in terms of QHSE. Participate in the development of the Group strategy on QHSE alongside the Global QHSE Team. Ensure the deployment and adherence to CEVA's QHSE strategy within the region, supported by QHSE country managers. Provide monthly updates on QHSE performance to regional and global teams, and oversee the implementation of CAPA plans as necessary. Ensure the robustness of QHSE governance, standards, systems, and frameworks, aligning strategically with Global Governance and business objectives. Promote CEVA's QHSE initiatives and support countries with expertise and guidance. Ensure consistent cascading of QHSE objectives, targets, and performance measurement, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Enforce and adhere to the Global QHSE Strategy in the Region.
  • Act as the liaison (GHO/countries) to ensure IMS implementation and compliance in the Region.
  • Maintain full compliance with Customer and Supplier Quality management governance.
  • Create, understand, and act on Country risk profiles to mitigate risks.
  • Accurately collate and verify QHSE data records and KPI reports for regional and global teams.
  • Present regional QHSE performance reviews to management and global teams, ensuring follow-up on action plans.
  • Investigate incidents and non-conformities thoroughly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a QHSE culture, supporting countries in staffing and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards (ISO 9001, GDP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and maintain certifications according to global governance.

Coordinate regional plans on:

  • Audit programs (external and internal)
  • QHSE training initiatives
  • QHSE tools such as Intelex and digitalized induction processes
  • ISO standards implementation and compliance
  • Country QHSE cross-audits

Education & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management
  • Environmental Management qualification
  • Quality Management qualification

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in QHSE Management Systems within Logistics, Consumer Goods, Medical Devices, or Pharma, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience in logistics industry, G&R, and O&G sectors is advantageous.

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, independently or as part of a team. Project management experience is preferred.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of Quality Standards (ISO 9001, GDP, GMP, ISO 13485), CAPA, NC, Audit Management, HSE Standards (ISO 14001 and 45001), and Dangerous Goods Safety Qualification. Proficiency in office applications.
