Job summary

Zydus Lifesciences seeks a QC Analyst for the Alidac manufacturing site in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role focuses on ensuring material sampling, chemical analysis, and strict documentation according to approved procedures.

The candidate should hold MSc/BPharm/MPharm and have 3–4 years of experience in quality control laboratories, with emphasis on analytical methods and compliance. The position notes replacement in the ALIDAC QC division.

Qualifications

• Training is acquired for each activity/instrument before execution and as per respective TNI.
• Sampling of raw material and retest material performed.
• Analysis (chemical) of raw material/packaging material/in-process samples/finished products etc.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory tests are documented contemporaneously in an authorized worksheet/bound book.
• Entries in sample inward register / SAP / LIMS for analytical reference numbers and storage until completion of analysis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment/instrument per analyst qualification program.
• Prepare and qualify working standards against reference/certified standards and ensure proper storage and documentation.
• Take online print and perform data punching in the LIMS.
• Qualification of instruments as required.

Key Job Description:

• Toensure that training is acquired for each activity/instrument before itsexecution/operation and that it is as per respective TNI.
• Toperform the sampling of raw material and re-test material.
• Toperform Analysis (chemical) of raw material/packaging material/in-processsamples/intermediate/bulk & finished products/ process validation samples/stability samples/ cleaning validation/method transfer sample etc.
• Toensure that all tests carried out in the laboratory are documentedcontemporaneously in an appropriate authorized and controlled worksheet/ boundbook.
• Tomake entries in the sample inward register / SAP / LIMS as required forassigning analytical reference number and to store at recommended storagecondition until completion of the analysis.
• Tosend the raw material control samples/retention samples to QA.
• Tooperate and maintain laboratory equipment/instrument as per analystqualification program.
• Toprepare and qualify working standards against reference standard /certifiedstandard/ primary standards. To ensure all primary standards/workingstandards/certified standards/reference standards are stored as per the storageconditions specified and documented. To review Pharmacopoeial referencestandards against their catalogue & its procurement.
