Job summary

JobItUs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is seeking fresh or experienced QC Chemists to perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and to conduct routine QC tests according to approved SOPs.

You will operate instruments like pH meters and HPLC, prepare reagents, maintain records, ensure timely testing, and support GMP/GLP compliance, OOS investigations, CAPA, and audits.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry preferred.
• B.Sc./M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and testing of materials and finished products.
• Conduct routine QC tests per SOPs and specifications.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments such as pH meter, moisture analyzer, UV-Vis, HPLC.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for analysis.
• Maintain COA, test reports, worksheets and lab records.
• Ensure testing is performed accurately within timelines.
• Follow GMP, GLP, SOP and safety procedures.
• Identify and report OOS/OOT results and deviations.
• Assist in OOS investigations and CAPA activities.
• Maintain calibration and daily-use records of instruments.
• Coordinate with QA, Production and R&D for quality activities.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and good documentation practices.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits when required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
• Conduct routine QC tests as per approved SOPs and specifications.
• Perform analysis such as pH, moisture, assay, viscosity, titration, protein/collagen-related parameters, and other applicable tests.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meter, analytical balance, moisture analyzer, UV-Vis, HPLC, etc., as applicable.
• Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions and chemicals required for analysis.
• Maintain proper COA, test reports, worksheets, logbooks and laboratory records.
• Ensure testing is performed accurately and within specified timelines.
• Follow GMP, GLP, SOP and laboratory safety procedures.
• Identify and report OOS/OOT results, deviations and abnormal observations.
• Assist in OOS investigation, root-cause analysis and CAPA activities.
• Maintain calibration and daily-use records of laboratory instruments.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage and disposal of samples and chemicals.
• Coordinate with QA, Production and R&D for quality-related activities.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety and good documentation practices.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits when required.

Qualification

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry preferred.
• Candidates with B.Sc./M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry will be preferred.

Experience

• Freshers, B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry candidates with good laboratory knowledge are welcome.
• Experienced: 1–3+ years of experience in QC Chemistry / Pharma / Nutraceutical / Food / Chemical / Manufacturing industries preferred
