Job summary

MECh Engineers seeks a Quality Control Engineer to be the final line of defense, ensuring high‑risk equipment meets safety and structural standards across the manufacturing lifecycle.

You will oversee inward, in-process and final inspections, review WPS and drawings, coordinate NDE activities and work with production teams and third‑party inspectors to close root causes efficiently.

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering and 4–8 years of hands‑on inspection experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting fabrication drawings and codes.
• Hands-on inspection experience in heavy engineering or pressure vessel manufacturing.
• Ability to review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and technical drawings.
• Coordinate NDE processes and maintain inspection records and NCRs.

Responsibilities

• Perform inward, in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review WPS, drawings, and acceptance criteria for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage NDE activities and maintain inspection records and NCRs; lead root cause analyses.
• Coordinate with production teams and third-party inspection agencies to ensure smooth project flow.
