Job summary

Küche7 Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. in Bhiwandi invites a QC Engineer to ensure products meet quality standards from raw materials to finished goods. You will inspect, document, identify defects, and coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities include conducting in-process and final inspections, maintaining records, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting 5S, CAPA and quality improvements while calibrating measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing / sheet metal / stainless steel / fabrication.
• Hands-on shop-floor QC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products per drawings.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufacturing products.
• Check dimensions, measurements, finishing, fitment and overall product quality.
• Identify defects, deviations, and quality issues during production.
• Coordinate with Production and R&D for corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, rejection reports and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring quality issues.
• Monitor and reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, CAPA and quality improvement activities; calibrate measuring instruments.
• Conduct quality checks at fabrication, laser cutting, bending, assembly and packing.
• Support internal quality audits and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure non-conforming products are properly identified and controlled.

About The Role

We are looking for a QC Engineer to ensure that products manufactured at Küche7 meet the required quality standards and specifications. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, quality documentation, identifying defects, and coordinating with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct in-process and final inspection of manufacturing products.
• Check dimensions, measurements, finishing, fitment, and overall product quality.
• Identify defects, deviations, and quality issues during production.
• Coordinate with the Production and R&D teams for corrective and preventive actions.

• Support internal quality audits and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure that non-conforming products are properly identified and controlled.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of basic quality control tools and inspection methods.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Measuring Tape, etc.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work closely with production and shop-floor teams.
• Knowledge of stainless steel / sheet metal manufacturing will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical.
• 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing / sheet metal / stainless steel / fabrication / modular kitchen / engineering industry.
• Candidates with hands-on shop-floor QC experience will be preferred.
• Candidates from Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Dombivli, Thane, or nearby areas are preferred.
