Job summary

HackerKernel in Bhopal is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester Trainee to enhance their software quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge in both manual and automation testing.

Key responsibilities include performing manual testing, assisting in automation test script creation, tracking bugs, and preparing various testing documents. This role offers hands-on training and a supportive learning environment, along with alternate Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Manual Testing concepts including STLC, SDLC, and Bug Life Cycle.
• Basic understanding of Automation Testing tools.
• Knowledge of API testing and basic SQL queries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Assist in automation test script creation and execution.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester Trainee to join our team in Bhopal. The ideal candidate should have strong foundational knowledge of both manual and automation testing and a keen interest in building a career in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Assist in automation test script creation and execution
• Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
• Work closely with developers to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Manual Testing concepts (STLC, SDLC, Test Cases, Bug Life Cycle)
• Basic understanding of Automation Testing tools (Selenium or similar preferred)
• Knowledge of API testing and basic SQL queries is a plus
• Understanding of Agile methodology (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have good communication skills
