Job summary

LRN Corporation in Mumbai seeks a Quality Assurance Senior Associate on a 6-month contract to drive testing across online courseware. The role involves checking functional operation and visual consistency, and coordinating with product and design teams to implement changes.

You will retest bugs, sign off on fixes, and work with project managers to meet delivery dates while supporting the delivery of high-quality educational content.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software testing experience.
• Qualification in testing methodology (ISTQB, waterfall, agile).
• Diploma or degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience in e-learning or web-based training preferred.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on all aspects of online courseware to ensure correct operation.
• Visually inspect courseware elements for adherence to style and content neatness.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Client Managers, Learning Managers/Instructional Designers and Graphic Designers to implement changes.
• Retest bugs when submitted and provide sign-off or remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project/Client Managers and design teams to meet delivery dates.

About the role:

LRN is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our growing delivery team. The ideal candidate will work across all delivery teams to perform functional testing on all courseware.

What you’ll do:

• Functional testing on all aspects of online courseware to ensure correct operation
• Visually inspecting all courseware elements to ensure a standard style has been applied. Neatness of content elements - graphics, text, audio.
• Liaising with Product Managers, Client Managers, Learning Managers/Instructional Designers, and Graphic Designers to ensure correct implementation of all requested changes.
• Retesting bugs when they are re-submitted and provide sign-off or remedial action recommendations on behalf of QA
• Working as part of a team with the Project/Client Manager, graphic designers, and instructional designers to meet delivery dates
• Communicating effectively with Project/Client Managers, senior management, and QA manager
• Driving quality throughout the web-based training market
• Working closely with our very experienced teams of Project/Client Managers, Learning Managers, Instructional Designers and Graphic Designers to deliver high quality material

What we’re looking for:

• 2 - 4 years experience working within the area of Software Testing
• A qualification in a testing methodology is ideal (waterfall, agile, ISTQB etc)
• Diploma or Degree in a technical discipline (computer related)
• Previous e-Learning experience and an interest in the web-based training industry
• The ability to work independently, be dependable and self-motivated.
