Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, Telangana, India is seeking a Molecular Biology & Diagnostic Research Scientist to conduct molecular biology and diagnostic research activities, perform aptamer studies, and support development with hands-on lab work across PCR, ELISA, Luminex, and sequencing-related tasks. You will mentor junior researchers and contribute to high-quality reports.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a postgraduate degree, and good English proficiency; day shifts in a full-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in molecular biology/diagnostic research.
• Postgraduate degree required in a relevant life science field.
• Good English level (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Age between 21 and 35 years; open to all genders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct molecular biology and diagnostic research activities.
• Perform aptamer studies and support aptamer development.
• Conduct antigen–antibody interaction studies.
• Perform DNA/RNA extraction, purification and analysis.
• Handle clinical samples (serum/plasma) per lab protocols.
• Perform PCR, RT-PCR and qPCR experiments.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot ELISA assays.
• Handle Luminex systems and multiplex assays.
• Operate microplate readers, spectrophotometers and centrifuges.
• Perform gel electrophoresis and nucleic acid analysis.
• Design experiments and interpret research data; prepare reports and papers.
• Maintain proper lab documentation and mentor junior researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct molecular biology and diagnostic research activities.
• Perform aptamer studies and support aptamer development.
