Job summary

SOBHA in Bengaluru is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead QA/QC activities on residential high-rise projects. The role emphasizes planning, site inspections, material verification, and documentation management to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

You will collaborate with project managers and site engineers to address quality issues, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement in processes and compliance with local regulations and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans including ITPs, Method Statements, and QC Procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to specifications, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Review and approve materials, construction processes, and workmanship to ensure quality.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation including ITPs, checklists, and NCRs.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, client requirements, and quality policies.
• Identify non-conformance issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC processes and best practices.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess effectiveness and recommend actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Report to senior management on quality performance and progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Material Verification: Review and approve materials, construction processes, and workmanship to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, client requirements, and company quality policies.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conformance issues and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC processes and best practices.
• Quality Audits: Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of quality systems and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues effectively and promptly.
• Reporting: Report regularly to senior management on quality performance and progress, highlighting key quality metrics and areas for improvement.
