Synechron in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design and implement automated tests using Pytest and Python.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, develop API automation frameworks with Pytest and SQL, and participate in Scrum ceremonies to track progress. Troubleshooting automation on Linux is also expected.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Pytest framework to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API testing using Pytest and SQL queries.
  
• Participate in Agile development methodologies (Scrum) meetings to provide input on project progress.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts execution on Linux machines.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering with expertise in Python programming language.
  
• Strong understanding of API automation testing using Pytest Framework.
  
• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries for data analysis.
