Job summary

vConstruct, a Pune-based construction tech company, seeks a highly skilled QA Lead to architect and scale an AI-augmented test automation framework. You will mentor QA engineers, define standards, and drive quality across product development, data science, and software initiatives.

The role focuses on designing scalable QA processes, integrating AI for test data and coverage, and partnering with tech leads to deliver robust CI/CD pipelines in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in QA with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python.
• Expertise in automation frameworks for web, API and Mobile testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools for test case generation, defect prediction, visual anomaly detection, self-healing test scripts.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices testing, and performance testing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Framework Ownership: Design, implement, and evolve a scalable, maintainable test automation framework using Playwright with AI augmentation.
• AI Integration: Use AI techniques for test generation, defect prediction, visual anomaly detection, and data creation.
• Process Definition: Establish QA processes, coding standards, and documentation practices.
• Team Leadership: Mentor QA engineers, conduct code reviews, lead technical training sessions.
• Collaboration: Work with tech leads and product owners to ensure CI/CD integration and shift-left testing.
• Quality Advocacy: Promote quality across the SDLC from requirements to release.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs for test effectiveness, coverage, and automation ROI.

vCLabs team seekinga highly skilled and forward-thinking QA Lead to architect and scale our test automation framework. This role will be pivotal in driving quality engineering practices across the organization,leveragingAI to enhance test coverage, maintainability, and speed. The ideal candidate will also mentor and coach QA engineers, define best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
