Job summary

Deccan Nutraceuticals seeks an Analytical Quality Assurance Executive to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance in the QC laboratory. The role emphasizes data review, SOP adherence, and instrument oversight to support batch release.

The candidate will investigate OOS/OOC results, manage deviations, and contribute to CAPA actions, while delivering ongoing staff training and supporting internal audits for regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Review raw analytical data, test logs, and audit trails for accuracy before batch release.
• Verify laboratory testing adheres to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure analytical equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained according to schedule.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT) results to identify root causes.
• Document and track laboratory deviations and events.
• Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of testing errors.
• Provide ongoing quality and compliance training for laboratory staff.
• Perform internal audits to prepare for external regulatory inspections.
• Update and manage quality documents, test methods, and specifications.

Responsibilities of an analytical Quality Assurance Executive -

Data Review and Compliance -

• Data auditing: Review raw analytical data, test logs, and electronic audit trails for accuracy and completeness before batch release.
• SOP adherence: Verify that laboratory testing strictly follows approved standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Instrument oversight: Confirm that analytical equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained according to schedule.

Investigation and Problem Solving -

• OOS/OOC handling: Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT) test results to find root causes.
• Deviation management: Document and track laboratory incidents, deviations, and laboratory events.
• CAPA support: Help create and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to stop recurring testing errors.

Training and Quality Improvement -

• Staff training: Provide ongoing quality and compliance training for laboratory analysts.
• Internal audits: Perform routine self-inspections and internal audits of the QC laboratory to prepare for external regulatory inspections.
• Documentation control: Update and manage quality documentation, test methods, and specification sheets.
