Job summary

CleverGround Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking a QA Engineer to join our tech team. You will design and execute tests to ensure our product is bug-free as we rapidly iterate features.

The role requires collaboration across design, product, development and support teams to uphold high quality. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of software testing experience, strong QA knowledge, and hands-on testing with SQL. A BS/MS in CS or related field is preferred.

Job role:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to join our super cool Tech Team at CleverGround. You will be working towards making our product sound and bug-free. We iterate features fast here and build them faster. You will play a very vital role in company’s product development process. Key Responsibilities:

• You will be designing and implementing tests, debugging and making corrective actions.


• You will be creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases


• You will be the point of communication between design team, product team, dev team and support team.


• You will be expected to step up from your role and own the end to end quality of the product


• You will be strategising testing of various components and writing test plans

Preferred Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in Software Testing.


• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes


• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases


• Hands-on experience with black box testing


• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting


• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Good to have:

• Experience with automation, performance and/or security testing is a plus


• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
