Job summary
Numeric Technologies Limited in Pune is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET, desktop automation, and manual testing. You will validate desktop and cloud-enabled applications, develop automation frameworks, and contribute to faster, higher-quality software releases.
The role focuses on testing 3D modeling/CAD apps within the AEC domain, working in an Agile team to design test plans, execute functional and regression testing, and continuously improve automation
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in manual testing.
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong experience in C# / .NET.
- Hands-on desktop automation testing experience.
- Experience testing Windows-based desktop applications.
- Experience with TestComplete or similar desktop UI testing tools.
- Experience with Xray or similar test management tools.
- Experience in manual + automation testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience testing 3D modeling applications, preferably in the AEC/CAD domain.
Responsibilities
- Identify automation opportunities and develop automated test cases for faster CI/CD releases.
- Design and execute manual and automation test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and desktop UI testing.
- Perform desktop application testing using TestComplete or similar tools.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases using Xray or similar test management tools.
- Identify, document, track, prioritize, and communicate defects across teams.
- Participate in bug bashes before feature releases.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define quality standards and identify delivery risks.
- Improve automation coverage by developing reusable components and refactoring existing automation scripts.
- Conduct peer reviews of automation code and recommend improvements.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint-based testing activities.
- Support continuous delivery of test automation through CI/CD pipelines.
