Job summary

Aziro is seeking a QA Engineer IV in Pune to validate our client’s data infrastructure. You will join a team that builds and tests data platforms, enabling secure exchange of data between Client products and third-party apps.

The role is based in our Pune office with a hybrid work arrangement and reports to the engineering manager. Required are 7+ years in manual testing with 5+ years in automation and desktop UI testing, using C#/.NET.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manual testing for desktop-based 3D/CAD or architectural applications.
• Minimum 5 years of automation testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Experience with Desktop UI automation frameworks/tools.
• Hands-on manual testing experience on desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify automatable scenarios and write automation tests for faster CI/CD releases.
• Develop test plans for automated and manual testing with appropriate tooling.
• Prioritize and track bugs across teams; lead bug bashes before feature releases.
• Perform functional testing in an Agile environment with short sprints.
• Improve code quality by adding new tests and refactoring existing ones; peer review automation tests.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering to define quality and delivery risks.

• Manual Testing experience on Desktop Applications is also required
• CAD Application Testing experience is desirable but not mandatory

Mandatory Skills

Automation Framework Experience

• Flow UI is the primary automation framework used by the team.
• Candidates with experience in Flow UI are preferred.
• Similar Desktop Automation tools/frameworks are acceptable.
• Experience solely in Web Automation tools is not sufficient unless accompanied by significant Desktop Automation experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing CAD applications such as AutoCAD or similar CAD products.
• Candidates with prior CAD testing experience, even if not currently working on such products, can be considered.

Experience Expectations

• Overall Experience: 7+ years.
• Automation Experience: 5+ years minimum.
• Desktop Application Testing Experience: At least 5 years, with 7 years being ideal.

Position Overview:

As we transition from a world of desktop products to that of products powered by cloud services, we're building ou core underlying cloud fabric and kernel that is comprised of massively scalable, always‑on, globally deployed cloud infrastructure services that underpin our customer‑facing systems. Engineers across product teams use our kernel services to build our next generation of rich customer experiences.

We are looking for a QA engineer to help validate our Client's worldwide data infrastructure. You will be part of a team that creates, and deploys data platforms to promote granular exchange of data between Client products and third‑party applications. You will work based in Pune office. You will report under engineering manager.

Responsibilities:

• Identify automatable scenarios and write automation tests to support faster release of code in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.
• Write and develop test plans for both automated and manual tests, using right tooling and integration with product development for a specific industry of the application.
• Communicate, and prioritize bugs across the application. Ensure partners are kept informed across different teams. Lead the scrum teams in bug bashes before feature release.
• Perform functional testing of our features in an Agile development environment with shorter sprint cycles.
• Improve the code quality by implementing new tests, building reusable components, and refactoring existing tests. Perform peer review of automation tests and suggest ways to improve code quality and automation test coverage.
• Work with product, design, and engineering teams to define quality. Delivery risks and suggest the best approach to resolve the issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in manual testing any 3D modeler used in Architectural and Construction industry.
• Build automation tests using any of the automation frameworks such as FlaUI or similar.
• Create and run test cases in Xray or similar tools.
• Experience in Desktop UI testing using frameworks such as Test Complete or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C# .NET.
• Comfortable working in desktop‑based applications and windows environment.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience programming in C#.
• Experience testing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D or other AEC/CAD tools is a big plus.Experience in continuous delivery of test automation in a CI/CD infrastructure such as – Jenkins.
• Understand, embrace, and promote Agile methodologies and principles.
