Persistent is seeking a Junior QA Data Engineer to join our data team in India, supporting development, testing, and validation of data integration and reporting solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with Talend, SQL, API testing, and data engineering while collaborating with senior engineers to ensure high-quality data pipelines.

The role emphasizes ETL/ELT pipeline support, data validation, and test design, with exposure to Postman, SoapUI, and Jira in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in QA, Data Engineering, or Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Talend (or similar ETL tools), SQL, and API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.
• Familiarity with Jira or other defect management tools.
• Exposure to Python, AWS, or test automation frameworks is a plus.
