Job summary

Ascendion Engineering seeks an experienced SDET Engineer for Healthcare (Facets, EDI, API & Automation) in Hyderabad. You will work on Claims, Enrollment, Provider, and Eligibility modules with strong API and data validation duties.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on EDI testing experience (834, 837, 270/271, 278, 835) and expertise in REST/SOAP, SQL, and automation tools like TOSCA, Playwright, or Selenium. Collaboration across CRM, IVR, and partner systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced SDET with strong Healthcare Payer domain knowledge.
• Hands-on testing in Claims, Enrollment, Provider, and Eligibility modules.
• Experience testing EDI transactions (834, 837, 270/271, 278, 835).
• REST/SOAP API testing using Postman/SoapUI or equivalent.
• Strong SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with test automation tools like TOSCA, Playwright or Selenium.
• End-to-end testing across Facets, APIs, CRM, IVR, and partner systems.
• Knowledge of FHIR/HL7 is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing across Facets, APIs, CRM, IVR, and partner systems.
• Validate EDI transactions and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Develop and execute API test cases using Postman/SoapUI.

1. Experienced SDET with strong Healthcare Payer domain knowledge.

3. Knowledge of healthcare programs like Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, and Marketplace.
4. Experience testing EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 270/271, 278, and 835.
5. Skilled in REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
6. Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation across systems.
7. Experience with test automation tools like TOSCA/playwright/ selenium.
8. Ability to perform end-to-end testing across Facets, APIs, CRM, IVR, and partner systems.
9. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience mentoring team members
