Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with expertise in Spark, Scala, Apache NiFi, and Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, test automation, and data processing technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for data processing pipelines built using Apache Spark and Apache NiFi.
2. Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
3. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.
4. Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure test coverage.
5. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
6. Monitor, report, and track the quality of data processing and ETL jobs in a big data environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark.
• Knowledge of other programming languages like Python or Java.
• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques for data processing workloads.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
