Job summary

Xoriant is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Pune (Hybrid) with strong hands-on expertise in Actimise applications, Playwright, SQL, and Unix/Linux. The ideal candidate will drive automation testing for banking domain solutions and contribute to test design, execution, and CI/CD integration.

The role requires 4+ years of Playwright automation and solid SQL skills, with experience in API testing and automation frameworks. Immediate joiners preferred for a full-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Actimise automation experience in banking domain is required.
• 4+ years of Playwright UI automation experience.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Unix/Linux.
• Experience with API testing using Postman and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation tests for Actimise solutions in the banking domain.
• Develop and maintain Playwright-based UI automation tests.
• Validate backend data using SQL with automated tests.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure quality standards.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Actimise applications, Playwright, SQL, and Unix/Linux. The candidate should have experience in functional and automation testing of Actimise solutions in the banking and financial services domain.

Primary Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Actimise (SAM, CDD, WLF, IFM, or RCM).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation for 4+ years.
• Strong automation testing experience using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Good experience in Manual Testing and test case design/execution.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Good experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Secondary Skills

• Banking/Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks and test reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
