Job summary

Zapcom is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for onsite roles in Hyderabad/Bangalore, India. Minimum 7+ years of hands-on automation experience is required.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks, write and execute automated tests, and collaborate with developers in an Agile setting. Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and programming in Java/Python/JavaScript is essential.

Role: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore, India (Onsite)

Minimum experience required is 7+ years

The client is looking for strong QA Automation candidates with hands‑on experience in test automation and modern testing frameworks.

Key expectations:

• Strong experience in QA Automation testing
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience writing and executing automated test cases
• Knowledge of regression, functional, integration, and end‑to‑end testing
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Strong debugging and defect tracking skills
• Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
• Database testing and SQL knowledge preferred
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with developers and business teams
