Tart Labs in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for a full-time onsite role. You will build and refine the automation testing framework, enable efficient SDLC practices, and drive scalable testing strategies across web, mobile, and API stacks.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA automation, strong scripting skills, and experience with API testing tools like RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA Automation experience.
• Proficiency with QA automation tools and scripting.
• Experience with API automation testing (RestAssured, Postman, Karate).
• Strong knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Exposure to Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

You will leverage your expertise in automation tools, scripting, and CI/CD integration to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our SDLC, driving the successful implementation of advanced testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the test automation framework, expanding coverage.

• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and QA teams to integrate automation seamlessly into daily workflows.

• Identify, document, and track defects efficiently using bug-tracking tools.

• Conduct comprehensive regression, functional, and performance testing using automation tools.

• Maintain robust test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and detailed reports.

• Ensure automation tests are fully integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Stay abreast of emerging automation tools, best practices, and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation testing.

• Strong practical experience with a variety of QA Automation tools.

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (JavaScript, React, Next.js, Flutter) for effective debugging.

• Proven experience in API automation testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or Karate.

• Expertise in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with creating detailed test documentation and test cases.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct, hands-on experience with Cypress automation.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
