Job summary

Yali Tech in Coimbatore is recruiting a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of software testing experience. The role involves manual and automated testing across functional, regression, and performance domains, and requires collaboration with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

You will maintain and enhance automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured, contributing to Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of QA/testing experience in software development environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality through manual and automated testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automated).
