Job summary

Musclemind is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive to ensure quality across activewear and casualwear products. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on QA experience in garment manufacturing or export environments, preferably with brands or export houses, and knowledge of knitted and woven garments.

You will conduct inline, pre-production and final inspections, review fabrics and trims, and drive corrective actions with production teams to meet buyer specs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of QA experience in garment manufacturing or export environments.
• Experience with activewear and casualwear required.
• Experience with established brands, buying houses, or export units is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of knitted and woven garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-line, mid-line and final inspections to ensure buyer specs and quality standards are met.
• Review fabric, trims and accessories for conformity with approved standards.
• Monitor construction, stitching, fit and finishing across knitted and woven garments.
• Identify, document and follow up on quality defects; drive root-cause analysis with production teams.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production and buyer QA teams to secure timely approvals and issue resolution.
• Maintain quality inspection reports, AQL records and audit documentation.
• Ensure adherence to buyer quality manuals, testing protocols and compliance requirements.
• Support pre-production meetings to align on quality expectations before bulk production.

Position Overview

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of relevant QA experience in the garment/apparel manufacturing or export industry.
• Prior exposure to activewear and casualwear product lines is essential.
• Experience working with recognized brands, buying houses, or export-oriented manufacturing units.
• Sound knowledge of garment construction techniques for both knitted and woven fabrics.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, merchandising, and buyer quality teams.

Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Textile, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, or a related field (preferred).
