Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group's FCM arm is seeking a QA professional to join a fast-paced travel tech environment, working across Agile teams to ensure product quality.

You will design and execute test plans, contribute to automation using Playwright, and collaborate with teams across Europe and the Americas to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of strong experience in QA.
• Time zone flexibility to work with Europe and Americas.
• Strong QA theory and processes knowledge.
• Hands-on test case creation, test plans, and traceability.
• Exposure to travel domain or GDS/booking systems is a plus.
• Experience with Playwright and automation.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps Test Plan and Dynamics is a plus.

Day in the life:

• Work in an Agile environment and adhere to all QA best practices.
• Create and maintain test plans that will complement the Product Owners’ user stories.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Re- testing and contribute to automation.
• Analyse product requirements and ensure the testing strategy is aligning a risk-based test approach mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing.
• Write test cases and scenarios from the requirements/designs, manage bug tracking, perform Test Analysis and Reporting.
• Active cooperation/collaboration with the teams across geographic locations (Europe, Americas).
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll be perfect for the role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 2 – 5 years of strong experience in QA.
• Time zone flexibility to work with colleagues/stakeholders in Europe (primarily) & Americas.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of software testing theory and deep understanding of the quality assurance processes.
• Hands-on experience in low-level test case creation, test plans, and traceabilitymatrix.
• Exposure to travel domain, testing experience of GDS or booking creation systems will be an added advantage.
• Azure DevOps Test Plan usage as a test management system is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Experience in business requirements analysis and review of technical documentation.
• Proactive test approach and ability to perform integration and functional testing
• Understanding of software development Infrastructure & CI/CD processes.
• Experience with requirements testing and acceptance testing
• Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system, and documentation
• Ability to create functional automation scripts using any Object-oriented languagebased framework (Playwright).
