Job summary

Q2 is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer who can independently design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network solutions within our enterprise environments in Bengaluru.

You will contribute to planning, performance optimization, and secure configuration, while mentoring junior team members. The role requires strong routing, switching, firewall and VPN expertise, experience with Cisco ASA, F5/A10 load balancers, and cloud networks, plus CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field with 5+ years experience
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, load balancers (F5, A10), and cloud networks
• Expert understanding of core networking technologies including: BGP, EIGRP, Cisco routing and switching infrastructure (IOS/ IOSXE / NXOS / ACI)
• Strong diagnostic and log analysis skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Effective communicator with cross-functional teams
• Documentation and procedural development experience
• Certifications CCNA/CCNP or equivalent highly preferred
• Fluent written and oral communication in English

Summary

This role supports enterprise environments and contributes to planning, performance optimization, and secure configuration of systems while mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic :

• Design and implement network solutions within a complex infrastructure.

Experience And Knowledge

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, load balancers (F5, A10), and cloud networks.
