Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a junior Data/Information Management Analyst as part of the Wealth analytics team within Citi's Analytics & Information Management unit.

You will develop knowledge of wealth products, procedures, platforms, and analytics concepts while supporting data tasks. You will analyze data, generate KPI reports, work with SQL and Python, and collaborate with UK and US partners to own tasks and ensure delivery.

Qualifications

• 2 years of analytics experience preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Python and querying data from large databases.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses is advantageous.

Job description

The Data/Information Mgt Analyst is a junior analyst role. This role is a part of Wealth analytics team within Citi's Analytics & Information Management (AIM) unit based out of Bengaluru, India.

The role requires analyst to develop a good knowledge of wealth products, procedures, platforms & tools to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying analytics concepts and principles upon which the job is based.

Key Responsibilities

• The analyst would be responsible for various data related activities, which include data analysis and insights, creating new KPI reports and managing ongoing delivery, data quality assessments & tests and supporting management queries.
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate large databases using SQL & Python.
• Should be good at efficient logic development, testing, and execution of the project.
• Analyst would be a part of larger team focusing on analyzing wealth product performance, balance sheet management, KPI monitoring.
• Analyst would work with partners based in UK and US. Would need to take ownership of assigned tasks and manage delivery.
• Develop an understanding of the domain / business and build expertise in their area
• Document details and create standardized use cases for FAQs and process documents

• Problem structuring and solving skills, ability to break down problems and solve it step by step.
• Ability to do quality checks and to deliver projects in line with expected quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's degree with 2 years of experience in analytics domain.
• Experienced in SQL, Python and querying data from large databases
• Experience working with cloud based and large and multiple datasets, data warehouses and ability to query / transform data is an added advantage

Education

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience from a reputed institute
