Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking a skilled data science professional to apply Python programming, ML techniques and data processing to solve client problems. You will engage in model building, data handling, and performance tuning while contributing to solution design and demonstrations.

You will plan and execute project activities, conduct POC workshops, and help deliver high-quality, value-driven outcomes for digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python programming.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning Algorithms (Regression, Classification, Clustering).
• Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib.
• Experience in Data Preprocessing, Feature Engineering, and Model Building.
• Knowledge of SQL and data handling.
• Understanding of Statistics and Data Analysis.
• Familiarity with Model Evaluation and Performance Tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• As part of Infosys consulting team, diagnose customer issues, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• Develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities, configure products as per design, conduct conference room pilots and assist in resolving requirements and solution design queries.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Workshops and prepare effort estimates aligned with budget and guidelines.
• Lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with value-added solutions.

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
