We are a 15-year-old, Mumbai-based SaaS company serving a global audience. Our platform is well-established, and we are now entering a phase of deep technical expansion involving intelligent data scraping and AI/NLP integration.

Historically, we’ve worked with a long-term outsourced tech partner. Now, we’re building our first in‑house product team, and you’re going to be at the center of it.

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and maintain web scraping tools using Python (Selenium, Scrapy, etc.)
• Build internal data pipelines and automation tools that support our SaaS platform
• Collaborate with external ML/NLP vendors and prepare structured data feeds
• Understand our PHP‑based architecture and make minor contributions or troubleshoot
• Work closely with the founder and product stakeholders to turn requirements into working tools

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in Python development
• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Scrapy, or similar web scraping tools
• Basic to intermediate skills in PHP — able to debug, understand structure, or write small modules
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms or working with cloud‑based backend systems
• Version control (Git), API integrations, and basic debugging of RESTful services
• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Exposure to NLP tools (even just integration, e.g., calling APIs from Hugging Face or AWS Comprehend)
• Past experience working with or supporting outsourced teams
• Bonus points for experience in any task queue system (Celery, RQ) or cron‑based automation

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Exposure to NLP tools (even just integration, e.g., calling APIs from Hugging Face or AWS Comprehend)
• Past experience working with or supporting outsourced teams
• Bonus points for experience in any task queue system (Celery, RQ) or cron‑based automation

Working Conditions

• Remote work allowed (from anywhere in India, preferably Mumbai)
• You’ll be expected to work on your own system/laptop; the company cannot currently provide hardware
• You’ll be our first internal developer, so we’re looking for someone who can take ownership and grow with us
