Job summary

ZettaMine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) in Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, or Bangalore. Bring 6–8 years of Python experience to upgrade and integrate third-party packages, fix packaging and test failures, and improve build configurations.

You will work with pip/PyPI tooling, virtual environments, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compatibility across versions while maintaining documentation and code quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development and debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with packaging and PyPI tools (pip, wheels, virtual environments).
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest or equivalent).
• Good understanding of dependency resolution and version compatibility.
• Familiar with Git, Linux, scripting, CI/CD, and log analysis.
• Experience maintaining or integrating open-source packages.
