Job summary

Blumetra is seeking an experienced Python Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on backend design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable applications. The role focuses on clean, high-quality code and strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.

You will build APIs with Django/Flask/FastAPI, optimize queries in PostgreSQL/MySQL, implement unit tests with PyTest, and collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
• Hands-on experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and microservices.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and preferably NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
