Job summary

Heptarc is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract role in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. You will design and implement ETL pipelines, work with Python and SQL, and handle diverse data types across systems.

The position requires strong cloud experience and a keen understanding of data processing tools in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable with SDLC practices (Agile Scrum/Kanban), Jira, and DevOps workflows, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proven data engineer experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL techniques and dealing with different data types/formats.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL; Hive/HBase is a plus.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with SDLC; Agile Scrum/Kanban; Jira.
• Familiarity with data processing tools (Airflow, Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.

• Strong knowledge and experience in using Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Familiarity with data processing tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Dockers, and Kubernetes is desired.
