Job summary

Contango Services Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Python data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large-scale analytics. You will apply Pandas/NumPy, work with cloud platforms, and collaborate across teams.

The role requires strong Python skills, ETL design expertise, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern data tooling. WFO, India-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years Python development experience; hands-on
• Very good proficiency in Python programming
• Pandas: experience with data manipulation and analysis
• Understand cloud technology, CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and pipeline design
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Pandas/NumPy; data processing at scale
• Write unit/integration tests and ensure code quality; Docker and Kubernetes familiarity
