Job summary

EPAMEpam Systems is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our Hyderabad/Hybrid team. You will lead backend service development using Python, FastAPI or Django, and contribute to building scalable, high-availability systems in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 6+ years of backend experience, strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, and hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and distributed architectures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Proficient with FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, background jobs, queues, and message brokers.
• Experience building and supporting high-traffic, scalable backend applications.
