Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an AWS Data Engineer with strong Python and AWS cloud experience. The candidate will build and maintain data engineering applications on AWS, focusing on serverless services, APIs, SQL, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines, developing RESTful APIs and backend services, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions. Hybrid work arrangement with onsite days is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Python, AWS Cloud, SQL, RESTful APIs, AWS CDK, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience building data engineering applications on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS serverless services and cloud-native development.

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced AWS Data Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Python and AWS Cloud Services. This is not a Python Developer role. Candidates must have substantial experience building and maintaining data engineering applications on AWS.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AWS serverless services, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Python and AWS.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Understand functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with the product roadmap.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications following enterprise best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work from the office as per the organizations hybrid work policy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5-12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS Data Engineering experience.
• Experience building production applications on AWS.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Candidates from Tier-1 organizations will be preferred.
• Immediate or short notice joiners (within 15 days) will be given preference.

• This requirement is for an AWS Data Engineer.
• Profiles with only Python development experience and no strong AWS Data Engineering background will not be considered.
