Job Description

Position: Python and PowerBI Developer

What you will do

• Python Scripting: Utilize Python for automation, data transformation, and integration with various systems and data platforms. Solid experience with Python for data manipulation and data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• Data Modelling: Design and implement robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Actionable PowerBI Report: Design, build, and maintain PowerBI reports using SQL Server, SSAS cube, and other data sources. Experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling. Optimize Power BI performance, manage workspaces, datasets, and apps, and publish Power BI apps for business users with proper versioning and updates.
• SQL Server Expertise: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• ETL Process Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for data integration from multiple sources into target systems.
• Data Analysis: Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, product managers) to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize performance of SQL queries and ETL processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data professionals to develop their technical and analytical skills.

We believe you have

• Experience: At least 8 years in data modeling with strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Python: Solid experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• PowerBI: Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and workspace/app management.
• Database Management: Understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization in SQL Server environments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective data solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams with technical and business stakeholders.
