Job summary

GoodSpace AI in Bengaluru offers a hybrid role for a Python AI/ML Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions using Python and modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong experience with ML algorithms and model development.
• Hands-on with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies (OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Good understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Milvus).
• Strong REST API knowledge with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong software engineering practices, design patterns, and Git.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Python AI/ML Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI and Machine Learning solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, modern ML frameworks, and Generative AI technologies, with hands‑on experience in building scalable AI‑powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML applications using Python.
• Build and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for production environments.
• Develop AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Fine‑tune and evaluate machine learning models to improve performance and accuracy.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate AI models into enterprise applications.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product, Data Engineering, and DevOps to deliver AI solutions.
• Monitor deployed models, optimize inference performance, and ensure scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Machine Learning algorithms and model development.
• Hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies including OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience working with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or Milvus.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and version control (Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying AI applications on cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.
• Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Speech AI projects.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers and open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Gemma, etc.).
• Knowledge of distributed model training and optimization techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Relevant AI/ML certifications are an added advantage.
