Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Conduct supplier negotiations regarding price, payment terms, credit period, quality, delivery schedules, freight, and other commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier performance relating to quality, delivery, service, and cost.
• Establish alternate suppliers for critical materials to reduce supply risk.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Management to determine procurement requirements.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels for critical raw materials, consumables, and spares.
• Avoid both stock-outs and excessive inventory.
• Monitor pending purchase orders and expected delivery dates.
• Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
