Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Executive in our Head Office (cyber towers Hitech City, Hyderabad). The role involves handling procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering spares, while ensuring timely availability, vendor development, and compliance with pharma regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end purchase cycle from requisition to payment.
  • Procure API, excipients, packaging material, vials, stoppers, consumables, engineering items.
  • Negotiate with vendors for best pricing, credit terms, and quality.
  • Develop new vendors, maintain vendor database, and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Raise purchase orders and track deliveries against production requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Accounts, and Production teams.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare purchase MIS, budget monitoring, and cost control reports.
  • Handle import documentation and coordination (if required).
Preferred candidate profile
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in pharma formulations purchase (mandatory).
  • Prior exposure to injectable formulation unit preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of pharma raw materials, packaging, and engineering spares.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under timelines.
