Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement for civil construction projects.
• Procurement of civil construction materials (cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, hardware).
• Ability to identify and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain records.
• Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
• Verify material specifications and ensure on-time supply and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure civil construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, hardware, and other project requirements.
• Identify and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
• Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
• Monitor material deliveries and ensure on-time supply to project sites.
• Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
• Track purchase orders, pending deliveries, and material shortages.
• Verify material specifications and coordinate with the site/QC team for quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain proper documentation of quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery records.
