Job Requirements and Skills:

Position Objective: Build a global community for Trunks Company by communicating our brand story and ethos through various mediums, from print to digital to physical events.

About the Position: The PR & Communication Manager will develop and execute communication strategies to enhance brand presence, increase visibility in luxury, design, art & crafts, and ensure a consistent brand voice across all media channels. Responsibilities include managing media relations, crafting narratives, and collaborating with stakeholders to communicate our brand story and values.

Job Skills:

  1. Proficiency in content creation and management.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Outstanding storytelling abilities.
  4. Understanding of luxury, art, and craft sectors.
  5. Strong media relations skills supported by an established network, including experience with media houses, PR agencies, and influencers.

Major Responsibilities:

Planning (With or Without PR Agency):

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies to promote the brand story, narratives, and events globally.
  2. Align PR strategies with marketing goals and brand objectives.
  3. Manage relationships with PR agencies in India and internationally.

Public Relations:

  1. Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries and proactively pitch stories for coverage.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, publications, and galleries to secure relevant coverage.
  3. Prepare and proofread press releases, media kits, speeches, interview write-ups, and other PR materials.
  4. Organize and manage media events, conferences, and tours.
  5. Handle PR agency collaborations in India and internationally.

Communications Strategy:

  1. Create and execute communication plans aligned with marketing goals.
  2. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
  3. Collaborate to ensure integrated efforts across print, digital, and social media.

Content Creation:

  1. Oversee high-quality content creation for newsletters, blogs, social media, and internal communications.
  2. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand values.

Campaign Management:

  1. Plan and execute global PR campaigns, launches, media networking, and events.
  2. Manage influencer marketing campaigns from conception to execution.
  3. Adapt and execute global campaigns locally.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  1. Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign performance.
  2. Prepare reports on PR activities and media impact.

Education:

PG/Masters/Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication, Marketing.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years in PR and communications, with 3-5 years in a managerial role within luxury, retail, design, or art & craft industries.

Job Location/Hours:

Jaipur. Full-time with flexibility for events and media inquiries outside regular hours.

Career Progression:

Typically progresses from Manager to Senior Manager, then Director of PR & Communication, with opportunities to work internationally with agencies in New York, Europe, and the Middle East, and to experience top events worldwide.
