Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Construction & Mining Machinery is seeking a PSD-Service Engineer to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and service support for CE & ME machines in the mining sector.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical with 3–7 years of experience, strong SAP proficiency, and the ability to lead technicians during FMC projects and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical required.
• 3–7 years of relevant service experience.
• Experience with mining equipment advantageous.
• Strong SAP usage and data/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site service support for CE & ME machines.
• Erection and commissioning of new machines.
• Spare parts planning and FMC team management.
• Daily checks and breakdown response.
• Maintain daily checks and reports in SAP/Komatsu ICT.
• Preventative maintenance planning.
• Ensure reliable machine operation with minimal downtime.
• Prepare service reports in SAP/Komatsu ICT.
• Coordinate with shift in-charge and lead technicians.

PSD-Service Engineer

Job Title : Service Engineer

Qualification : Diploma - Mechanical, Electrical

Experience : 3-7 years

Industry : Mining Industry ( Hydraulic Excavators ,Dumpers , Graders Cranes )

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Exposure to Product Service support on CE & ME Machines, Leading a big team
• Erection and commissioning of new machines, machine condition monitoring
• Machine availability & Spare parts planning, managing a FMC team
• Attend to daily checks , mandatory service and break down calls
• Maintain record of daily checks , daily reporting of m/c working & breakdown
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance checks & plan for parts /components for repairs
• Ensure the machine is working condition with minimum breakdown
• Reporting of service reports in SAP & also on Komatsu ICT tools
• Coordinate with shift in charge and able to lead the skilled /semiskilled technicians under Team lease
